User Experience engineering delivers the silent, underlying foundation that everything else lies upon. I’ve made forms more accessible, buttons easier to use, and text easier to read. There’s a chance you may have pleasant memories of your user experience, but really, the hallmark of great UX/UI is what’s missing — namely, frustration. If I’ve done my job right, you won’t even know I was there.

Word Counter For Timed Scripts (Tool for Scriptwriters)

Word counters work by using spaces as boundaries. Timed scripts are harder to get good counts for because things like web addresses that sound like multiple words (‘fest foods dot com’) get counted as only one because they’re usually pasted in without spaces (‘festfoods.com’).

This tool splits things like web and email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses, hyphenated words, and select acronyms into separate elements for a more accurate count. See it in action here [Opens in new tab].

Website Health

Your website is a vital part of your business. Whether it’s an informative site or a full-blown storefront, it has to be working at peak capacity. If there are things slowing your site down or making it harder to find or use, you need to know about it.

Any information you can get from tools or an audit is helpful. Even tiny changes and improvements can make a huge impact. Start with the easy fixes and work your way up. As a writer and editor, I provide turnkey edited text that you can copy and paste right away. This includes keyword-optimized headings, body copy, and meta tags, with attention to consistency and quality assurance.
